Norman Police/Fire Chili Supper

Police/Fire Chili Supper planned Jan. 15

The 34th annual Police/Fire Chili Supper, benefiting the Cleveland County Christmas Store, will be 5:30 to 7 p.m. Jan. 15 at the Norman High School Commons area, 911 W. Main St.

Recommended parking is in the east parking lot. Carry out will be available, beginning at 5:30 p.m., organizers said.

Tickets are available for $5 at the Norman police and fire departments, the University of Oklahoma Police Department and from the Norman Public Schools Campus Police.

"All money will benefit the Cleveland County Christmas Store because we are able to get the supplies and ingredients donated," said Norman Police spokesman Jennifer Newell.

"Last year, we were able to donate over $7,000 to the Christmas Store. We would like to exceed that this year. There are many people who would not have an opportunity to exchange Christmas gifts with their loved ones without the Christmas Store," Newell said.

To make a donation or for further information, call Newell at 366-5267.
