Pro-Life Lobbying Day -Rose Day - Wednesday, February 6, at State Capitol
The annual pro-life lobbying day, Rose Day, will be held next Wednesday, February 6, at the State Capitol in Oklahoma City.
The morning will be devoted to visiting state legislators, urging their support for pro-life legislation. Many who come bring a red rose for their state senator and state representative. (You could identify yours by going to our website, www.OkForLife.org - upper left side, click on Identify Your Legislators. Type your address, then scroll down to the fourth and fifth entries.)The Rose Day program will be held at 11:45 a.m. in the House Chamber, and will feature Father Frank Pavone, who is National Director of Priests For Life and President of the National Pro-Life Religious Council. Registration in the 4th floor rotunda begins at 10:30 a.m.
Please try to attend this special pro-life day at the state Capitol, 23rd and North Lincoln, Oklahoma City. By your presence you will demonstrate to our elected officials the moral imperative of defending the unborn child. Thank you.
