Presidential Candidates compete in Oklahoma


•Hillary Clinton: Former President Bill Clinton is scheduled to come to Oklahoma Jan. 30 on behalf of his wife, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, D-New York. Also, an Oklahoma steering committee of more than 40 Oklahomans has been formed by Clinton's national campaign.

•Barack Obama: Two campaign workers for Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., drove three days from New Hampshire to open his Oklahoma campaign office Monday. The office is on the second floor of the Krumme Building, 4100 Lincoln Blvd., which also houses offices of the state Democratic Party.

•Jerry Curry: Jerry Curry of Haymarket, Va., said he plans to return Jan. 22 to Oklahoma to officially announce his candidacy for president.

He also will speak Jan. 24 at a Republican dinner in Norman.

At last. A true conservative. Jerry Curry is the dark horse candidate that the whole Republican base has been waiting for.
