Norman Rocks the Vote to Promote Voter Registration

The Norman Public Library and the Norman League of Women Voters are sponsoring a Rock-the-Vote Registration and Information Party on Friday, September 26, at the Norman Public Library from 6 to 9pm.

U.S. Senate candidate Andrew Rice, U.S. House of Representatives District 4 Candidates Blake Cummins and David E. Joyce, OK House of Representatives District 44 Candidates Tod Barret and Bill Nations, Scott Martin of House District 46, and Joe Lester running for County Sheriff will all be in attendance.

The Rock-The-Vote party is a nonpartisan event encouraging citizens to be informed and participate in local, state, and national government by registering and voting.

A panel of candidates and party representatives will give a brief statement and answer questions from the audience. Anyone not registered to vote in the November election may register at the party.

Live music will be provided by Steven Streetman of the Pioneer Library System.

Come enjoy the music and refreshments while becoming informed voters!
