Did a Movie Theater try to discourage people from seeing "An American Carol"

Also see What are you doing this weekend?

After last Saturday Oklahoma Online/SamSphere Conference, a group of us went to see "An American Carol" at the Dickinson Penn Square 10, Jenn from Green Country Values and Ft. Hard Knox, E. M. Zanotti - Sam Adams Alliance and American Princess, Michelle and Jason - GetRightOk and a few other.

While in line to gets our Tickets, Jenn saw that the movie rating
for an "An American Carol" was posted as a "R" rating and NOT PG as it should have been !

When I ask the lady selling Tickets about it, all she could say was "that they ran out of PG signs", talk about a lame come back !

I know a lot of people that will NOT see a "R" rated movie, but, will see "PG" rated movie.

Now was this a just a goof up by the staff, or did they try to discourage people from seeing the movie ?
