The City of Moore announced today the newly opened Warren Theater outsold the rest of the state during the April 5-6 weekend. Showing 11 movies, Moore officials said the theater was the third-highest grossing theater in the U.S.

Construction began on the cinema complex in March 2006 and includes such features as: art Deco-style design, a bull-nose marquee, lots of polished chrome and etched glass, sculpted ceiling panels, carpet custom-milled based on Thirties theater archives and plaster moldings. Also, the theater serves beer or cocktails and dinner in the balcony from a full kitchen and wait staff.
