Yes, yes, I know the proper name of the council is the “Ethnic” American Advisory Council. But as zTruth pointed out in May, all of the members on the council are Muslim, and it’s a council to help us poor dumb Okies learn to be more tolerant of Muslims - an “ethnic” group that we coincidentally have been getting along with just fine (thank you very much!) since Persians and Arabs began migrating to this area in the early 1900’s, to work in the oil industry. As a refresher, this “Ethnic” council is the same group that “generously” distributed Centennial copies of the Quran to Oklahoma lawmakers - for free!
Two key members on the council are brothers Mohammad and Jalil Farzaneh, who are very successful Master Home Builders in the Oklahoma City area - their company is called Home Creations. The Governor has been accused of selecting members for that council to reward key campaign contributors, so the Farzaneh’s cleverly threw Earnest Istook a bone in 2006 when he ran against the governor. Wow - I guess that proved the skeptics wrong, huh? (Not.)

If the name “Farzaneh” sounds familiar to my Green Country readers, it’s because several months ago in Bartlesville, Mohammand and Jalil’s cousin Amir Farzaneh, an attorney, helped file a complaint on behalf of Fardha Sharifi and Alireza Sanghinmanesh of Bartlesville with The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration alledging the first-generation immigrant’s civil rights were violated, because Oklahoma did not provide the Drivers License test in Farsi. Green Country Values has been informed that both Home Creations Brothers have talk very openly about how they are bankrolling the cost of the legal action.
In response to that action, Randy Terrill said last April:
“It makes a compelling case for why English should be the official language in Oklahoma: Driver’s license testing in Farsi! Don’t laugh. I know it’s funny, but this is not a joke. Everyone wondered just when the slippery slope would begin. Today that has been answered. Now, the only relevant public policy question is how will it end?”When these prominent Muslim American Advisory Council Members (oops, there I did it again, sigh), I mean “Ethic” American Advisory Members aren’t busy trying to re-educate Oklahomans about Islam and Quran, and championing the “rights” of immigrants to have their drivers’ license tests translated into about a jillion (approximately) different languages at taxpayer expense, they’re busy defending the philosophy and teaching of Mahmood Ahmadinejad - the Iranian President who wants to wipe Israel off the map, who’s been mocking the U.S. and the world with his nuclear program for the past several years, and who is planning to bring on Armageddon.
For the record, most of the Iranians I’ve spoken to in the Green Country area think “Mr. I’m-nut-job” (I learned that variation of the name, from a Persian living in Tulsa) is just that - a “nut.” They don’t believe the election that put him in office was legitimate, and even though they love their native homeland of Iran, they really don’t want to be associated with along with “I’m-a-dinner-jacket,” (I also got that nickname from a Persian). So, pro-nut-job demonstrations are a bit of a foreign concept (no pun intended) here in Green Country, but apparently not on college campuses in HomeCreations territory.
The following video was shot at OU (Norman, OK) by Okie Campaigns last year, when former Senator Rick Santorum (R-PA) was speaking on the dangers of radical Islamic fascism (hat-tip 1389). An attendee at that event, requesting to remain anonymous, told Green Country Values this week:
“Both of the Farzaneh brothers plus a whole lot of people with HomeCreations logo hats, T-Shirts and pull overs also showed up, and about 85% of the Q&A was this group talking about how great Iran/Ahmadinejad is. Both of the Farzaneh Bros came off looking very pro Iran/Ahmadinejad.”
