Hat tip to Jeanie @ Jeanie's Journey Continues...Last week we went to a Town Hall meeting for our local State Representatives and Senators. I came home and did a quick blog thinking nothing about it. Just telling you guys what I'd been up to as usual. I woke up the next morning to find that I had a new invitation and that my blog had been linked to on a Blogger Site.
Tonight we went to the fund raiser for our WONDERFUL State Representative Randy Terrill and I got to meet the man who linked to me in person! It was great to meet you face to face John. I explained that I am a right winged, conservative, neo-con and sat their running my blog content through my head! "What's on there?" When suddenly Randy Terrill himself came over and leaned down and said "What did you say on your blog?" OMG!
The evening was really nice, I'd never been to a political fund raiser before! We had the chance to talk with Anthony Sykes again, what a sweetheart. Wayne used to work with his uncle. I chatted with Randy's wife and enjoyed watching his kids run around being healthy, happy, kids! Say what you want to about Washington but we got some dedicated, honest, God fearing men here in Oklahoma politics!
Awhile back I did a blog on the Immigration Bill which was passed here in Oklahoma! It's now being contested and law suits are in order. Randy vowed to take it to the Supreme Court if need be. By God if Washington won't protect our borders it's nice to know that we have men like Randy Terrill and Anthony Sykes who will stand up and protect our state borders! Thank you Gentlemen for all your heard work and tenacity! I've now seen you in action and I'll say it again....Your doing fine Oklahoma!
