Emoly West win Miss Oklahoma 2010

Emoly West is the new Miss Oklahoma.

She is the daughter of Jack and Stephanie West.

Emoly won two preliminary competitions earlier in the week. She received a $1,000 scholarship for her ballet performance in the talent competition on Wednesday and she also won the swimsuit competition on Tuesday.

Pageant spokeswoman Susan Finegan says Emoly won a $16,000 scholarship and will compete in January 2011 in the Miss America pageant.

Pageant officials say the 24-year-old from Edmond was crowned Saturday night (June 12, 2010) in Tulsa after competing against 42 other women from across Oklahoma.

After finally winning the crown Saturday night at Oral Roberts University's Mabee Center, Emoly said she feels like she can accomplish anything.

Emoly recently graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma, where she majored in dance performance.

She competed as Miss Edmond-LibertyFest.
